How notifications work

Separate Worlds: activity keeps its World label so you always know where it happened.

Displayed badges: actor badges only appear when they are public, selected, and allowed in that World context.

Next action: open the related item, mark everything read, or reset filters when needed.

Separate Worlds

Activity keeps its World label so you can tell whether it came from Social Circle, Social Lite, Circle Snap, Gamers Circle, Circle Vision, Messages, Friends, or Badges.

Displayed badges

Actor badges only show when they are public, selected for display, and allowed in that notification's World. Private badges never appear here.

Next action

Open the related item, mark everything read, or reset filters if a type or World filter hides something you expected to see.
