When you use The Social Circle™, we may collect:

• Account information (email, display name, avatar, bio)
• Content you create (posts, images, links, reactions, comments, world settings)
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps)
• Usage information (which sections you use, basic interaction patterns)

2. How we use this information

We use this data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display posts, snaps, streams, and other content to you and other users
• Operate, debug, and improve the platform
• Enforce rules, prevent spam/abuse, and protect the service and users
• Communicate with you about important updates or changes to the service

3. Where your data is stored

The Social Circle™ uses third-party providers such as Supabase (for database and authentication) and Vercel (for hosting). Your data may be processed or stored on servers located outside of Canada, depending on their infrastructure.

4. Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Service providers that help us operate the platform (hosting, storage, email)
• Authorities or others when required by law, or when needed to protect rights, safety, or the security of the service

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary to operate this beta service and improve it. During beta, data may also be removed as part of cleanup, testing, or restructuring of the platform.

6. Your choices and rights

You can:

• Edit profile information within the app
• Delete certain content you have posted (where the feature exists)
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at: support@thesocialcircle.world.

We will make reasonable efforts to honor deletion requests, subject to technical and legal limitations.

7. Children

The Social Circle™ is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the service or has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

8. Changes to this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice may be updated as the platform evolves. When it changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may notify users in-app.
