When you use The Social Circle™, we may collect the following types of information:

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve the platform.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
• Display content and enable interaction between users
• Operate, maintain, debug, and improve the platform
• Enforce community rules and prevent spam, abuse, or misuse
• Communicate important service-related updates or notices

We do not use your data for hidden profiling or undisclosed algorithmic manipulation.

3. Where your data is stored and processed

The Social Circle™ uses third-party service providers to operate the platform, including:

• Supabase (authentication and database services)
• Vercel (application hosting and delivery)

As a result, your data may be processed or stored on servers located outside of Canada, depending on provider infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to select providers with appropriate security practices.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating the platform (hosting, storage, email delivery)
• When required by law, legal process, or government request
• When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, or the platform

All sharing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to:

• Operate and maintain the platform
• Provide requested services
• Meet legal or security obligations

As the platform evolves, some data may be deleted as part of maintenance, feature changes, or system improvements.

6. Your choices and rights

You have the ability to:

• Update or edit your profile information within the app
• Delete certain content you have posted (where functionality exists)
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting: support@thesocialcircle.world

We will make reasonable efforts to honor deletion requests, subject to technical, operational, and legal limitations.

7. Children’s privacy

The Social Circle™ is intended for users aged 13 years or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has used the platform or provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Changes to this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time to reflect platform changes or legal requirements. When updates occur, the “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use of The Social Circle™ after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
