3. What other users may be able to see
Some parts of The Social Circle are meant to be social and visible.
Other users may see your display name, handle, avatar, profile details you make public, badges you make public or display, posts, comments, replies, reactions, and other visible activity depending on the feature, World, privacy setting, and page.
If a feature has special visibility rules, such as accepted-user access or private connection details, those details should only appear where the product is designed to show them. Avoid sharing private information in public comments or public posts.
4. Messages and private areas
Some features may feel private, such as direct messages, private profile settings, hidden badges, or feature-specific details. These areas are not meant to be publicly visible, but they may still be stored and processed so the feature can work.
The Social Circle may review limited information if needed for support, safety, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or platform troubleshooting.

The Social Circle does not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared or disclosed only when reasonably needed, such as:

- to investigate abuse, enforce rules, review reports, or protect users, the public, or the service
- if needed for security, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, or platform protection
7. Data storage, retention, and deletion
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to operate the platform, maintain security, support users, investigate abuse, process payments, handle disputes, keep moderation records, or meet legal and operational obligations.
Retention may vary by feature. Some information may remain in backups, logs, audit records, moderation records, payment records, or support history for a period of time after user-facing content has been changed or removed.
